Andre WARD predicts Fury-Usyk fight: “He will take care of it”
Former world super middleweight champion Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) spoke about the upcoming fight between WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF champion Alexander Usik (21-0, 14 KOs). . Strange fight between Brit and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
“It’s a good little guy against a good big guy, and you usually go with the good big guy. Usyk will be a tough opponent for Fury because Tyson is not used to fighting such small guys.
Considering the last fight with Ngannou, you’d have to think Fury would find a way to work this out. I think this will be a big fight. I’m happy Usyk will finally win the fight and given Fury’s recent performance the odds are tilting in Usyk’s favor. It will be a tough fight but I think Fury will find a way to win it,” Ward said.
The fight will take place on February 17, 2024 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

Absolute lightweight champion Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) said he would give up all four of his belts ahead of his junior heavyweight bout with WBC champion Regis Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs) on December 9.
Haney, 25, defended the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight belts by unanimous decision against Vasiliy Lomachenko in May of this year. Before that, he took the titles from George Kambosos, defeating the Australian twice on home soil.
“I did everything I could at lightweight. The most important thing for me was to arrange a fight with Gervonta Davis and his side showed no interest in this fight. I have outgrown this division, so now I am moving to junior heavyweight to become a two-division champion.
And after this fight, if I am successful in this fight, God willing, I expect to become a champion in three divisions and move up to heavyweight,” Devin said.
The WBC lightweight title will now belong to Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs), who defeated Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs) earlier this month.
Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) holds his second WBA title, so he will likely move up to the recognized champion category.
Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) and Lomachenko (17-3, 11 knockouts).
The WBO title picture is less clear. Lomachenko is the No. 1 contender but does not appear in the fight. So they’ll fight for the vacant belt Denis Berinchik (18-0, 9 KOs) and Isaac Cruz (25-2-1, 17 KOs).

“Khabib’s team could probably come and take over this country right now because this generation is such a bunch of pricks.” Yes, that’s for sure. Yeah, when you look at some of these people in other countries… some of these guys are from the Middle East, from Russia… they have a different mentality, they were born different, with a different mentality. We become soft and weak. Every 10 years we get softer and weaker,” White said on the Full Send Podcast.
Nurmagomedov completed his professional career in 2020. He remained undefeated in the Octagon, where he scored 29 victories in 29 fights.

Former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) is looking to return and will fight former undisputed junior heavyweight world champion Scotsman Josh Taylor (19-1, 13 KOs).
