Quick knockout. One of the competitors, Usik Kabayel, stopped the Pole in Germany
On Saturday, January 10, a night of boxing was held at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, the main event of which was the fight for the title of interim world champion.
Representatives of the super heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) met in the ring: WBC Interim belt holder Agit Kabayel from Germany (26-0, 18 KOs) and his Polish opponent Damian Knyba (17-0, 11 KOs).
The boxers started the fight actively – from the first round it was clear that Knyba could create problems for his more outstanding opponent, who had a cut above his right eye. However, starting from the second round, the German began to actively work on the body and took control of the fight. In the third round, Kabayel hit Knyba in the head several times and began to finish him off – the referee intervened and stopped the fight.
Kabayel remained the holder of the title of WBC interim world champion and was one of the contenders for the fight with Ukrainian Alexander Usik, who holds the full title of the World Boxing Council.

Team Director Alexandra Usika Sergey Lapin commented on the possible fight of the Ukrainian player with former champion Deontay Wilder:

An MMA fighter beat up his stylist neighbor and threatened his little children with a gun because of the noise.
In Odintsovo, near Moscow, a mixed martial arts fighter beat up a stylist neighbor and threatened his wife and small children with a pistol because of the noise, reports the Mash Telegram channel.
According to the publication, 33-year-old MMA fighter Andrei R., who works as a security guard and personal driver, went to his neighbors downstairs to investigate. After the stylist opened the door, the man hit him in the head several times. The incident was witnessed by the stylist’s wife and children – a three-year-old son and a 1.5-year-old daughter.
After the conflict, the fighter returned to his apartment. When the victim approached his door, it suddenly opened – a neighbor came out with a gun, pointed it at the man and began shouting that he would “shoot” his family. As a result, another neighbor snatched the weapon from his hands.
Police and ambulance arrived at the scene. The stylist was taken to the hospital with a concussion and bruises, and after that the children were under severe stress and did not sleep for several nights.
It is noted that the conflict between neighbors has been going on since 2023. First, Andrei R. complained about the repairs, and then about the stomping, toys and crying of children, and threatened with complaints to the commission on juvenile affairs and the presence of “connections.”
