Eintracht drew 1-1 in Munich to keep Bayern without a win for the third straight season in 2023.

Bayern had two draws in a row 1-1the unity from one and the game between them in Munich on the 18th matchday of the Bundesliga inevitably ended in a draw with this result.

The hosts were clearly superior in the 1st half, although they again played without the unavailable Sadio Mane. The action was constant on the visitors’ field and in a lapse of time in the 34th minute Leroy Sane opened the gate. Kevin Trapp had to intervene to prevent a bigger goal, but everything changed in the 2nd half.

Eintracht decided to fight back instead of stoically waiting for Bayern’s attacks. The gaps in Julian Nagelsmann’s defense were sufficient, which Radal Kolo Muani used to equalize 1-1 in the 69th minute.

The substitutions of Serge Gnabry and Ryan Hraffenberg didn’t help Bayern, who couldn’t even keep possession after the equaliser. Frankfurt were clearly better, coming closest to the game’s third goal and may not have found it, but kept Bayern winless in 2023.
