Nottingham Forest have announced their 23rd signing since promotion to the Premier League. The Reds have signed goalkeeper Adnan Kanuric for the club’s Under-21 squad.

Nottingham Forest signed a total of 21 players in the summer transfer window to build a competitive squad that will fight for survival in the Premier League after a 23-year absence from the big leagues, but that’s not all.

Serge Aurier has joined Steve Cooper’s team as a free agent, marking their 22nd acquisition following historic promotion, while the Reds announced another addition to their squad on Tuesday (20/09) in the form of Adnan Kanuric.

This is a 22-year-old Bosnian goalkeeper who was sacked by Sarajevo last July after two years there (2020-2022). English media reported that the most likely scenario is that the player joins Nottingham U-21 from now on in the first team are Henderson and Hennessy.

It is worth noting that Kanuric has football experience from England as he was a member of Stoke in 2018-2020 and took part in five Potters U-18 games but without playing in the first team.

Eric Cantona said he had suggested Ed Woodward become “President of Football” at Manchester United and while Sir Alex Ferguson was positive about the prospect, the Red Devils’ former vice-chairman and chief executive and club officials said no.

THE Eric Canton He gave an interview to Athletic in which, among other things, he mentioned his ambition to serve Manchester United from another position, that of President.

The French Red Devils legend stressed that Sir Alex Ferguson was on board with the idea, but not the club’s former chief executive and vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

Woodward is great at marketing but not at football. I think they should have a CEO, a CEO who is responsible for administration/marketing, and then a football chairman who is responsible for all football decisions.

So I offered to become the “President of Football”. First I met Ferguson to tell him and he said it was a great idea. He met me in Woodward, we met a few times but they didn’t want me. I still believe me or someone else dealt with football issues. It has to be someone from the team who knows football and the club‘ said Ed Woodward.

Dani Alves revealed in a podcast that Cristiano Ronaldo avoided greeting him at the Ballon d’Or awards in the past due to the huge rivalry between Barcelona and Real.

Dani Alves and Cristiano Ronaldo have been rivals and players for Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively for years.

The Brazilian, who now plays for Pumas, revealed he had an altercation with the Portuguese star at the Golden Ball awards in the past but it was never revealed to the media.

The reason for the controversy was Ronaldo’s refusal to welcome Alves because of the great rivalry between their teams at the time.

“I love Cristiano. Now that we’re not at Barcelona and Real I can talk to him because it always seemed like I couldn’t.”

Cristiano is an example for all of us who don’t have enough quality to understand that with hard work you can compete with the best. I have a lot of respect for him and I had the opportunity to tell him that.

In the past there was a time when because of the rivalry between the teams, I went to greet him and he didn’t greet me.

There was a confrontation that was never disclosed, but in the Ballon d’Or dressing room we had a fight because I greeted everyone and he didn’t greet me because of what was between Barcelona and Real.” said the Brazilian.
