The second “record” bids for the takeover of Manchester United have been made

Both the Qatari delegation and Sir Jimmy Ratcliffe have made record-breaking bids to buy Manchester United, but everything is open to the Glazer family’s decision.
We had developments in Manchester United’s ownership change negotiations as bids of almost €5.6 billion (£5bn) from the Qatar fund, as well as Britain’s richest, Sir Jimmy Ratcliffe, came in as part of the disaster Deadline, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The deadline was set by the American bank handling the negotiation process. Both sides feel alone in the negotiations at the moment, both for a majority stake and for a shareholding (this option is also on the table).
But even these offers do not appear to meet the financial claims of the Glazer family, who would agree to the concession for a sum of just under six billion euros (6.7 billion pounds).
The sports record for a team takeover is the Denver Broncos from the NFL at 4.1 billion euros. Even the offers currently on the table exceed that amount.
As the publication reports, the Red Devils’ new owners will have to invest an amount of almost £1-2bn to improve facilities, but also transfers needed to see the team return to the top.

Record fee Chelsea paid to Brighton for Potter

Brighton have released their accounts for the 2021/22 season, revealing the record amount Chelsea have spent to compensate the Seagulls for Graham Potter.
Graham Potter took over as Chelsea manager last September, replacing Thomas Tuchel. In order for the Blues to take over the 47-year-old technician, they had to pay heavily to Brighton, where he was under contract. In order to even get his signature, they had to compensate the Seagulls with a record sum.
From the balance sheet released by Brighton, the amount that Chelsea have taken out of their coffers, which totals 24 million euros, has emerged.
This equalizer is a record in football history. It should be noted that Potter is also well paid by Londoners as he is paid €13 million annually.

Konate on Mbappe: ‘He deserves to be captain, in Liverpool they asked me if he was arrogant’

Ibrahima Konate has attacked Kylian Mbappe and the France captain’s armband, revealing his Liverpool team-mates have asked him if the Parisian star was being arrogant.
THE Ibrahim Konat spoke in the best terms about his teammate in the French national team, Kylian Mbappe, who will become the new captain of the “Tricolors”, the team announced.
The 23-year-old defender described the Paris star as a “leader” and also mentioned that many consider him arrogant. A view shared by some of his Liverpool team-mates.
“Even if I had a say, it wouldn’t change anything. It’s the coach’s decision, but I’m very happy. Honestly, Kylian deserves it. We are all on board.”he told Eurosport, adding:
“He deserves it with what he did at the World Cup and also with Paris. He’s a very good leader, on and off the pitch.”
He’s a little boy who likes to have a good time and have fun, nothing more. He’s a very nice person. Some may consider him arrogant. That’s something I was also asked about in Liverpool. I say to them: “Are you crazy? He’s such a nice guy.” Of course he’ll be a good leader.”
