The die for Oliveira’s contract has been cast: these are the financial facts

The first talks about Nelson Oliveira’s stay at PAOK show a common intention to develop the cooperation between them. How development for next season’s two-headed offensive line is being kickstarted.
PAOK has started talks with him Nelson Oliveira for the contract extension that expires at the end of the season, showing his clear intention to keep him in Toumba.
Since it was a matter of course Razvan Lucescu has recommended the Portuguese stay in the squad, which was more or less expected. After all, the 31-year-old forward was one of the few transfers with the Romanian coach’s stamp.
Lucescu was very insistent on his acquisition as his playing style perfectly suited his own philosophy. It was something that didn’t show in Oliveira’s first season at PAOK due to his serious injury, but this year it became clear, particularly in games where he either scored or didn’t, that he remained the cornerstone of PAOK’s offensive function.
With Lucescu recommending his stay and the footballer positive about the possibility of continuing his career at Toumba, the first exploratory contacts between the two sides showed that there is a common intention for an agreement.
Contacts have not yet reached the economic point that will judge developments. It should not be forgotten that Oliveira has one of the biggest contracts paid by PAOK based on Adichos. Logically, his demands won’t be far off the current seven-figure annual figures.
The result with Oliveira pulls PAOK’s scrimmage down
The financial aspect is an important part and will largely show PAOK’s intentions for the composition of the squad’s attacking line next year. Currently the only forward tied to a contract after the end of the season is young Tzimas, who will logically get even more playing time next year.
Oliveira with Lucescu’s vote of confidence will logically stay and what’s left to do is make decisions about Brandon Thomas. The Spaniard, who excels in his role as an attacking alternative, has a one-year contract that the two-headed man can also automatically extend.
If there is an agreement on an extension with Oliveira in the money of the current contract, so more than 1 million, then he will be considered the first striker of PAOK for the second consecutive season and any variation in the trio forward will depend on the decisions that be taken for Brandon.
For that reason, the financial part of the talks with the Portuguese will point towards Dikefalos’ plan for next season.

Cristiano Bacci, Lucescu’s alter ego, will be on the bench with AEK in the derby

Razvan Lucescu’s suspension at “Kl. Vikelidis” will force him to remain in the stands in Sunday’s derby with his Italian assistant Cristiano Bacci, who coaches PAOK.
Razvan Lucescu was sent off in the derby with Aris and will serve out the automatically imposed one-game penalty in Sunday’s game against AEK (April 2, 7:30 p.m., NOVASPORTS PRIME, LIVE Sportish).
We should keep in mind that Lutsescu’s dismissal against Aris isn’t his first while sitting on the dikefalo bench. The Romanian coach was also sent off in his league debut for PAOK in an away game against Levadeiakos alongside then-home team coach Jose Anigo.
However, Lucescu was usually on the bench for his side in the next match against Corfu, in which he claimed his first – of many – victory in the league as coach of PAOK. And that’s because he was summoned to an apology along with Anigo, but both were acquitted.
As is the case in such cases, Razvan Lucescu will use the technology and be online with the team bench to give instructions Cristiano Bacci who coaches the players.
Lucescu’s “alter ego”.
The 47-year-old technician, born in Tuscany, Italy, is the “alter ego” anyway by Lucescu. The Italian, a graduate in accounting and librarianship, is highly organized, as is the Romanian technician, and their relationship stretches beyond the narrow confines of the first coach and his assistant.
Bacci didn’t have much of a stopping career during his years as a footballer in Italy’s lower leagues. But he quickly got involved as a coach – he has a UEFA professional diploma – and worked with Loucheskou in his first season at PAOK.
He is considered the “meter of static phases” and it was above all his skill that earned him the absolute confidence of the Romanian technician, whom he followed to Al Hilal and then to his return to Thessaloniki.
Also explosive as a character, like Lucescu, he lives the games of PAOK very intensely. After all, he was also sent off in Dikefalos games and not a few times he received yellow cards for protesting to the referees.
Bacci is a second Lucescu
He thinks of Lucescu “A great person on the pitch, able to build a team that plays top-flight football and doesn’t care too much about how the opponents are playing, only about their own team.”
Bacchi is actually a… second Lucescu on many levels. Consider how, in an interview with Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, he characterized the celebrations after winning the undefeated championship and the first double in PAOK history “a popular revenge by Thessaloniki in his football match against Athens that pushes sporting boundaries“.
Also, the fact that the PAOK players won’t be able to see Razvan Lucescu when they look at their team’s bench during the game against AEK could also play a role.
What is certain, however, is that the Romanian coach, working with Bacsi and his technical team, will have prepared them for this somewhat strange state of affairs.
