Antonetti opened the scoring for Estrela da Amadora after the break, but Ian Luccas quickly leveled for Alverca. Vivaldo restored the visitors' lead before Marcus scored a first-time volley to make it 2-2, only for Alverca forward Chiquinho to be sent off in the 74th minute for an assault on an opponent.

First Half Chances

The match began with both teams adopting a cautious approach in a balanced opening period. Alverca, known as the Ribatejanos due to their location in Alverca do Ribatejo, produced the first clear opening of the game when Touaizi struck a dangerous effort, but Estrela da Amadora goalkeeper Leo Linck pulled off a save to keep the match goalless.

Alverca thought they had taken the lead shortly afterward when Chiquinho put the ball into the net. However, the assistant referee raised the flag and the goal was disallowed for offside against the forward.

Estrela da Amadora responded with chances of their own as Robinho and Antonetti both came close to scoring. Alverca goalkeeper Matheus Mendes made a brave save to deny the visitors. Following that exchange, the momentum shifted toward the side coached by Sérgio Ferreira, who controlled the remaining tempo of the first half.

Second Half Goals and Red Card

Estrela da Amadora returned from the half-time break with greater attacking sharpness and broke the deadlock when Antonetti found the net. Alverca responded swiftly as midfielder Ian Luccas restored parity at 1-1. The equalizer spurred Estrela forward again, and Vivaldo put the Tricolores back in front.

Refusing to accept defeat, Marcus reacted to a loose ball by striking a first-time volley past Linck to make it 2-2. However, Alverca's momentum was halted when Chiquinho struck an opposing player in the 74th minute. The referee issued a direct red card, forcing the home team to defend under pressure for the remainder of the match.

Club Developments and Recent Form

The result comes during a busy period for Estrela da Amadora, who recently presented a 28-man squad including five new signings to their club members ahead of the campaign.

The Amadora-based outfit also confirmed a roster change after reaching a mutual agreement to terminate the contract of forward Rodrigo Pinho.

Estrela da Amadora had previously demonstrated their resilience in league action by recovering from a two-goal deficit to secure a draw against Sporting CP.
