Arsenal are set to complete a £75million move for Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes after the two clubs reached a compromise to conclude the transfer saga. Full agreement is now nearly complete for the midfielder.
Guimaraes is waiting for permission to leave Newcastle's training base in La Manga, Spain, to finalise the formalities of his transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
Aston Villa are braced for a fresh proposal from Arsenal for England defender Ezri Konsa while attempting to tie him to a new contract. Daily Mail Sport reported last month that Konsa was the Gunners' top target for central defence, though their initial proposal fell well below Villa's £60million valuation of the 28-year-old.
Konsa has remained on Arsenal's radar and has two years left on his current contract at Villa Park. Mohamed Salah travel to Turkey
Mohamed Salah is travelling to Turkey ahead of negotiating final details to complete a free transfer to Trabzonspor. The Turkish club posted pictures and videos on social media showing the former Liverpool forward wearing a Trabzonspor shirt with the No 61 while on their private plane.
Salah is scheduled to arrive in Istanbul shortly before heading to Trabzon later today.
Coventry City record transfer bid
