French winger Bradley Barcola has completed a 145 million euro move from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool, signing for the Premier League club on Monday.
The 23-year-old international attacker becomes the most expensive departure in Paris Saint-Germain history, eclipsing previous record sales made by the French capital club.
According to a source close to the Parisian club, the transfer fee comprises a fixed initial payment of 125 million euros alongside 20 million euros in easily achievable bonus payments.
Barcola leaves Paris after three full seasons at the Parc des Princes, choosing to move abroad for a new challenge with two years remaining on his PSG contract.
Record transfer fee for Ligue 1
The 145 million euro total fee makes Barcola the most expensive player ever sold by a Ligue 1 club. The transfer eclipses the previous benchmark set by Moroccan central midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who moved from Lille to Manchester City for 100 million euros.
At Paris Saint-Germain, Barcola surpasses the 90 million euro fee received from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal for Brazilian forward Neymar Jr. He also overtakes the 74 million euro transfer of Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan.

Barcola spent three years developing into a key member of the PSG squad, having originally arrived in Paris from Lyon as a 20-year-old prospect.

Liverpool announced the signing on their official X social media account by posting a video of Barcola inside their Anfield stadium. The English club accompanied the footage with a post welcoming the player to Merseyside and adding the phrase Allez Les Rouges in French.
Speaking in the video released by Liverpool, Barcola described the club as a footballing giant and a historic institution known for its passionate supporters, vibrant atmosphere, and famous red colors. He added that having previously played at Anfield as an opponent, he was delighted to make the stadium his new home.
Paris Saint-Germain confirmed the transaction in an official statement, announcing that after three full seasons wearing the PSG shirt, Barcola was joining Liverpool FC.

Barcola departs Paris Saint-Germain having scored 39 goals and provided 37 assists across three seasons. During his tenure at the club, he won 13 domestic and continental trophies and became a two-time European champion.
The French international established himself within a star-studded Parisian forward line, known for his explosive pace and strong dribbling skills on the wing despite occasional inconsistency in his final decision making.
Although Barcola was a regular contributor during domestic campaigns, PSG head coaches occasionally opted for teammate Désiré Doué in major starting lineups, including UEFA Champions League finals.
