Atlético Mineiro, who edged past Ceará on penalties in the previous round, host Juventude at 19h30. Juventude caused a surprise by eliminating São Paulo. Santos then take on Remo at Vila Belmiro at 21h. Santos, the club featuring Neymar, came through against Coritiba, while Remo beat Bahia twice to advance.
Four matches on Sunday
Palmeiras face Fortaleza at Nubank Parque at 16h, and Mirassol host Grêmio at 18h. Grêmio are in the Brasileirão relegation zone and were also knocked out of the Copa Sudamericana on July 30. Chapecoense, who overturned the aggregate to eliminate Botafogo at home, meet Cruzeiro at Arena Condá at 18h30. Internacional face Corinthians at Beira Rio at 19h30.
The first-leg schedule concludes on Monday when Athletico Paranaense, who beat Atlético Goianiense on penalties, host Vitória at Arena da Baixada at 21h. Vitória reached this stage by eliminating Flamengo.
Second legs run from August 4 to 6.
