Estoril and Famalicão drew 1-1 on Friday in the opening match of the 2026/27 I Liga football season, with the visitors giving up a first-half lead.
Forward Georgios Koutsias opened the scoring for visiting side Famalicão in the 32nd minute on his debut in the top division of national football, making him the first goalscorer of the new Liga edition. Estoril restored equality in the second half when Yanis Begraoui scored to secure his team's first point of the campaign.
