FC Barcelona have officially registered new signings Rodri and Karim Adeyemi with LaLiga for the current season, confirming the club has secured the necessary financial space for the two important additions.

Rodri, a star signing for the campaign, arrives from English Premier League club Manchester City, while winger Adeyemi joins the Catalan side from German team Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona sporting director Deco had previously stated there would be no problems registering players on this occasion. The successful enrollments confirm the club has improved its financial situation, pointing to a quiet summer regarding salary cap issues at the Camp Nou.
Spanish football regulations require clubs to prove they have sufficient financial space within their strict spending limits before they can formally add new players to their league squad. Barcelona have struggled to meet these requirements over several recent transfer windows, often forcing them to delay player debuts.
Pending player registrations
The club still needs to formalise the registrations of Anthony Gordon and Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo. Both processes are considered imminent, with the pair expected to be officially added to the squad in the coming hours or over the course of the weekend at the latest.
Barcelona have also confirmed the sale of academy prospect Tommy Marques to Portuguese Primeira Liga side SC Braga for a fee of 11 million euros.
Marques, a product of the club's La Masia youth system, made his first appearances for the senior team last season under manager Hansi Flick. As part of the transfer agreement to Braga, Barcelona have retained a buy-back option for the player at an advantageous price, along with a percentage of any future transfer fee.
Search for an attacker
The club has accelerated its squad planning in recent days following the departures of experienced striker Robert Lewandowski and forward Ferran Torres earlier this summer.
The main unresolved issue for Barcelona is signing a new forward to provide more attacking power. Argentine striker Julian Alvarez and other alternative options remain possibilities to fill the vacant role in the forward line.
