New York Knicks star Josh Hart has left fans stunned after sharing an X-rated message about his wife, Shannon Hart, just moments after the team's championship parade through Manhattan.
The Knicks held an open-top bus parade on Thursday, ending a 53-year wait to win a championship. Owner James Dolan was joined by a host of WAGs, celebrities and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani as the procession moved through the streets.
During the parade, Hart was seen dancing with his wife on the bus, and a clip of the moment went viral, with fans calling it 'dirty dancing.' Hart doubled down when the clip drew attention, writing on X: 'Yea I'm in there tonight.'
The comment came after Dolan had advised players to abstain from sex during their playoff run. Dolan first floated the idea during a locker-room speech in April, with five games left in the regular season. Teammates Jalen Brunson and Hart shared a clip of the speech on their Roommates Show podcast on Monday.
Dolan told the squad he had the idea that maybe they should give up sex for the next 10 weeks, comparing it to the Spartans denying themselves to gain an edge. He told players to go home and talk to their wives, adding: 'Don't tell them it was my idea, but let them know what this commitment is going to be like.'
It remains unclear which players followed Dolan's advice, but the Knicks won 13 consecutive games in the postseason, beating the San Antonio Spurs in five games to win the title.
Mamdani's parade speech
Mayor Mamdani delivered a 10-minute speech during the celebrations, recalling Bernard King's 60-point game on Christmas Day 1984, Willis Reed's performance in the 1970 NBA Finals, and Patrick Ewing's battles. Footage of the speech went viral on social media.
One fan wrote that he could not have faked the speech and must genuinely care about what he was talking about. Another said it was enough to bring tears, calling Mamdani 'a special man.' A third called him the first mayor in 80 years of Knicks history to give a championship parade speech, saying he came with poetry instead of talking points.
