New York Knicks superstar Karl-Anthony Towns married influencer Jordyn Woods on Saturday in a lavish outdoor ceremony overlooking the ocean in Malibu, California.
The wedding came just two months after Towns, 30, helped lead New York to the NBA championship and hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy. Woods, 28, wore a white strapless gown featuring a full skirt and a long tulle veil trimmed with lace, while Towns wore a black tuxedo.

According to the New York Post, the couple exchanged vows in front of a host of A-list guests after announcing their engagement on Christmas Day last year. The nuptials marked another major milestone for Towns shortly after adding a championship ring to his basketball achievements.

Towns and Woods had been longtime friends before their relationship turned romantic during the Covid-19 pandemic. They officially began dating in May 2020 after meeting through mutual friends and later purchased a $14 million home together in Los Angeles.

Knicks teammates and Hollywood guests
A large delegation of Towns' championship-winning teammates joined the celebration in California. Finals Most Valuable Player Jalen Brunson headlined the basketball stars in attendance alongside his wife Ali, who wore a floor-length black gown with a plunging neckline.

Other Knicks players in attendance included Josh Hart and his wife Shannon, OG Anunoby, Jose Alvarado, and Miles McBride.

Prominent figures from Madison Square Garden's celebrity row were also among the wedding guests. Actor and Knicks superfan Timothee Chalamet, who was a frequent presence courtside during New York's run to the Finals, attended with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who is friends with Woods.

Fellow Knicks fanatic Ben Stiller watched the ceremony alongside his wife Christine Taylor months after celebrating New York's postseason triumph. Other high-profile guests included Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Keegan-Michael Key, Michael B. Jordan, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Love Island USA stars Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi.
Reconciliation and past history
The presence of Jenner and Woods together highlighted their restored friendship following years of separation. The pair had been nearly inseparable best friends for six years before a high-profile scandal broke in 2019.

Woods faced heavy public scrutiny after a drunken kiss with basketball player Tristan Thompson, who was dating Jenner's older half-sister Khloe Kardashian at the time. The incident caused Kardashian and Thompson, who share children, to split for the second time, and prompted Jenner to publicly sever ties with Woods.
Although Woods initially denied that an encounter took place, she later revealed during an interview on Jada Pinkett Smith's talk show Red Table Talk in March 2019 that she and Thompson had locked lips. Jenner and Woods have since reconciled, with their mended friendship on display during Saturday's ceremony.
Championship nods and Christmas proposal
The wedding reception featured a direct nod to the Knicks' first championship victory in 53 years, which New York sealed by defeating the San Antonio Spurs in five games. Guests reportedly left the ceremony with gifted hoodies reading "Married in 5."
Towns and Woods have credited their close friendship as the foundation of their romantic relationship. Speaking on her Instagram series Regular-ish in September 2021, Woods reflected on their connection.
"I think it's kind of cool dating your best friend," Woods said. "We know each other. We know each other's hearts. We know each other on good days and bad days, and we've been through a lot of bad days together."
The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Christmas Day last year with the caption "Marry Christmas." Towns proposed on one knee, presenting Woods with a massive emerald-cut diamond ring estimated to be over 10 carats.
