Meghan Markle showed off her jewelry collection in a new promotional video for her lifestyle brand As Ever, but left one signature piece off her hands. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted the clip to As Ever's Instagram page showing her making her "favorite ice cream sundae," made with raspberry spread, vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread and flower sprinkles.
Prince Harry's wife wore her wedding ring along with a diamond pear band once dubbed "an engagement ring upgrade" by jewellery experts, thought to be worth $250,000. She also wore a new, unidentified gold band on her right hand and Princess Diana's Cartier Tank Française watch, worth £17,800 ($24,020), which was gifted to her after she married the Duke of Sussex. Meghan also wore her £2,370 ($3,197) Jennifer Meyer mini bezel tennis bracelet, handcrafted from polished 18-carat yellow gold and designed by Tobey Maguire's ex-wife.
Missing from her hands was her £120,000 ($161,922) engagement ring.
Custom ring missing for months
The former Suits star is believed not to have worn the ring in more than four months. The last time she was pictured wearing it was in February 2026, at an NBA game in California.
Harry proposed to Meghan in 2017, enlisting the late Queen Elizabeth II's regular jeweller, Cleave & Company, to design the ring. The prince had taken a ring from Meghan's jewellery box so the designers would know her size, and asked them to "harvest" diamonds from one of Diana's bracelets as a tribute to his late mother.
Ring altered four times since proposal
Since Harry proposed at Nottingham Cottage, the ring is believed to have been altered four times. At Trooping the Colour in June 2019, Meghan wore the ring with a thinner band than its original design, with small diamonds set down the sides worth around £126,000 ($150,000), a change jewellery expert Arabel Lebrusan suggested reflected a more American style.
Royal expert Omid Scobie wrote in his book Finding Freedom that the decision to resize and reset the ring with a new diamond band in 2019 was Harry's idea.
Jeweller praised Harry's thoughtfulness
In Finding Freedom, jeweller-to-the-stars Lorraine Schwartz, who carried out the 2019 alteration, said of Harry: "He's the loveliest person ever. So romantic, so thoughtful." The book's authors added that Harry had thought to have Schwartz resize and reset Meghan's ring with a new diamond band.
In 2022, further speculation arose that Meghan had altered the ring a second time when she attended the Invictus Games in The Hague, appearing to have added extra diamonds around the central stone.
Fans spot possible new changes
The ring was noticeably absent during several of Meghan's appearances in 2023, when a loose stone was reportedly being repaired, which some believed was a third alteration. In 2025, royal fans noticed the ring's central diamond appeared to be an emerald cut rather than its original cushion cut in a trailer for Meghan's Netflix series.
Some suggested this was a fourth version of the ring, while others speculated it might be a replica worn to protect the original from damage while cooking.
New diamond ring on her right hand
The five-carat ring with a pear-cut diamond that Meghan wore on her right hand in the new clip was first seen in October 2025, at Project Healthy Minds' World Mental Health Day Festival in New York City.
Jewellery expert Trang Do previously told the Daily Mail that "wearing a significant ring on the right hand often symbolises independence, self-love, and personal power," adding that the pear-shaped diamond could "point to an upgrade or evolution of her engagement ring story." Do said: "Many clients today are choosing to refresh their rings to mark milestones, whether an anniversary, a personal achievement or a new chapter, rather than waiting for a traditional proposal moment."
Flowers and a new fruit spread
Alongside the As Ever clip, Meghan shared a video on her personal Instagram account of herself flower arranging, walking through a garden before showing off a vase of flowers she had picked, thought to be placed in the kitchen of her Montecito home.
Last week, it emerged that Meghan appeared to have bought a smart ring alongside a matching £2,100 gold case encrusted with diamonds, worn while she attended a screening of Cookie Queens, a documentary about Girl Scouts in America, on Tuesday. She wore the glittering "sleeve" on her left hand over her Oura ring, a fitness tracker that measures sleep quality and stress levels and that Prince Harry also uses, along with another new unidentified gold band on her right hand.
Meghan also introduced a new fruit spread flavour, unveiled as "our newest pantry favourite" on As Ever's social media page on Tuesday, after teasing the launch with a video of herself picking blackberries. The caption read: "Made with beautifully ripe blackberries for a rich, vibrant flavour that brings a little taste of the season to your table."
