Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has arrived in Trabzon to sign a two-season contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor after leaving Liverpool. A crowd of supporters greeted the 34-year-old player with flares, flags, and accessories as he interacted with fans and led the celebrations.

Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season after facing problems with manager Arne Slot. Although his contract with the English team ran until June 2027, the attacker decided not to remain with the squad.

Liverpool statistics and career path

During his time with Liverpool, Salah played 442 matches, scoring 257 goals and providing 120 assists. He won nine trophies with the club: one Club World Cup, one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup, two Premier League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup, and one Community Shield.

Before joining Liverpool in the 2017 season, Salah began his career at Egypt's Al-Mokawloon. He later played for Basel, Chelsea, Fiorentina, and Roma.
