Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones fumed at a linesman after his side were held to a 0-0 draw by Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, accusing the official of "arrogance" over a disallowed goal.
Charlton thought they had taken the lead in a tight London derby when Tyreece Campbell scored in the 39th minute after being put through by Oliver Skipp. But linesman Bhupinder Gill ruled the Jamaica international offside in what Jones described as a tight call.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Jones said: "They were giving offsides willy-nilly, we had one offside which wasn't. The goal is a great goal from a great counter-attack, it's onside and it [the decision] has cost us three points once again."
He went further in his criticism of Gill, saying: "I think the arrogance of the linesman is mental because he's looking at me as if I've just volleyed his cat. He's looking at me as if I have done something and going 'nah'."
Jones added: "He's made the biggest error of the night and he's cost us the game and that is the Championship because the Championship is brutal."
Charlton climb the table
The point moved Charlton up to fifth in the Championship, the second tier of English football below the Premier League. Queens Park Rangers, based a few miles away in west London, share the capital with Charlton, making the fixture a local derby even though the two clubs sit in different parts of the city's football map.
The draw came days after Charlton were thumped 4-0 away at Stoke City, the club Jones managed before taking charge at Charlton, with the visitors also reduced to 10 men during that match.

That defeat at Stoke left Jones critical of officials for a second successive game. The Welshman said he was "bitterly disappointed" with referee Robert Madley over several decisions, including a 15th-minute penalty that he believed gave Stoke a route back into the contest.
"I've gone in and seen him [the referee]. I'm bitterly disappointed with my own team's performance, but I'm as bitterly disappointed with another performance as well," the 53-year-old said on Saturday.
"There were so many things that went against us but straight after the penalty we went under for 20 minutes - and my teams don't normally do that. But we've done it twice here. That's the thing that hurts me and hurts my teams, us going under like that," he said.
"I think they need me to come here because they get better results when I get back," Jones said of his former club. "We had a great start and wanted to silence the crowd, but we gave away an absolute gift. That can't happen. But after the penalty, fair play to Stoke, they never looked back."
"I'm definitely going to get it when I come back here, but I expected that," Jones said of a hostile reception. "I had it when I was manager, so I'm definitely going to get it as an opposing manager."
