Serbian guard Nemanja Nedovic described Thomas Walkup as one of the dirtiest players in the EuroLeague during a recent appearance on the Kole Point Playbook Podcast. The former Panathinaikos player spoke about his derby battles against Walkup and Olympiacos while clarifying that he will not return to Red Star.
Nedovic recalled a Greek Cup final where he scored 20 points in the first half, prompting Olympiacos to assign Walkup to guard him to make things difficult. Nedovic said Walkup is one of the dirtiest players in the EuroLeague, but added that Walkup is such a good guy off the court that it is impossible to stay angry with him.
Off-court character
Nedovic added that Walkup is a great character off the floor who always greets everyone with a smile. He recognized that Walkup has built his entire career on his toughness and defensive commitment.
