PAOK will not issue an official response to the statement released by the club's organized supporters on Thursday night, according to reporting by Stavros Soundoulidis on The Football Show by Stoiximan, a program produced by protothema.gr.
Soundoulidis said the Thessaloniki club had intended to make an official statement addressing issues related to its stadium, but that the move has been delayed. The original plan called for an official briefing in early August, yet no announcement or clear position from the club's management has followed.
Stadium update pushed back
According to the report, PAOK's leadership has given no indication of when it will address the stadium matters that prompted the fans' statement. The gap between the planned early-August update and the present has left the club without a public position on the issue.
Telis Mystakidis speculation addressed
Soundoulidis also addressed the recurring speculation around Telis Mystakidis, a businessman whose name is frequently raised as a possible figure in PAOK's future ownership. He said Mystakidis has not made a single public statement on matters concerning PAOK's football club since the start of 2026.
Soundoulidis said it was worth remembering that many people too readily assume Mystakidis will be the answer to PAOK's next chapter, but that no one can be certain this is the path that would actually be followed if such a process were ever reached.
No sign Savvidis plans to sell
Soundoulidis further reported that there is currently no indication from Ivan Savvidis that he is considering selling his shares in PAOK's football club. Savvidis, a Russian-Greek businessman, has owned and led PAOK since 2012, a period in which the club won the Greek Superleague title and reached the Greek Cup final on multiple occasions.
The report did not indicate when, or whether, PAOK's management plans to issue any statement addressing the fans' concerns or the wider questions about the club's ownership going forward.
