Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason has obtained a temporary restraining order against his former girlfriend, Marilyn Maritza Melo Rodriguez, according to TMZ. A judge granted the order on Thursday, July 30, and it is set to last three weeks.

The order followed threats Eason says Melo Rodriguez made against him. It bars her from entering NBA arenas in California, his home, and the Houston Rockets training facility.
Eason said Melo Rodriguez hit him in the face repeatedly with a closed fist and threatened to break both his legs and kill him. He also said she sprayed bleach on his clothes, causing about 100,000 dollars in damage.

Ex-girlfriend denies the claims
Melo Rodriguez said the allegations are false and misleading, and are meant to damage her reputation while deflecting from her own accusations of harassment and emotional distress against Eason.
A hearing is scheduled for August 20 to decide whether the restraining order will be extended.
Eason, 25, recently signed a five year contract worth 81.5 million dollars with the Rockets, where he plays alongside Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun.
