The Stoiximan Super Cup 2026 will launch the Greek basketball season in Rhodes on September 26 and 27, featuring Olympiacos, Panathinaikos AKTOR, PAOK and AEK.
The four prominent clubs will gather at the Kallithea Indoor Hall in Rhodes to compete for the first trophy of the 2026-27 campaign, just days before the start of the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League championship.
Betting firm Stoiximan returns as the title sponsor and main partner of the event for the third consecutive year. League officials noted that the naming agreement reinforces a long-standing strategic relationship aimed at supporting Greek athletics and delivering high-level experiences for supporters.
League executive statement
Michalis Melis, president of the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League, said the new athletic year opens in the best possible way. He stated that assembling four top teams in Rhodes allows organizers to present a high-level tournament worthy of the dynamic history of Greek basketball.
Melis described Stoiximan as an essential strategic partner for the league. He added that the collaboration demonstrates the positive impact of joining professional basketball with corporate leaders who invest in sport.
Melis said Rhodes will serve as the center of Greek basketball focus during the two-day tournament. He expressed confidence that the competition will offer fans exciting matchups and exceptional spectacle on the court.
He offered warm thanks to Stoiximan for its trust and steady support, adding that both organizations will continue investing in the growth, international exposure and upgrading of Greek professional basketball.

Kostas Diorelis, commercial director of Stoiximan, said the company is pleased to link its name with the Super Cup for a third straight year to mark the start of the basketball season.

The Greek Basketball League, organized by the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association, represents the top tier of professional basketball in Greece. Participant clubs Olympiacos and Panathinaikos AKTOR are based in the Athens area and remain two of the most successful teams in European basketball history, while AEK of Athens and PAOK of Thessaloniki also hold distinguished records in domestic and regional competitions.
Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanese islands in the southeastern Aegean Sea, frequently hosts national athletic events at its municipal sports facilities in Kallithea.
