Taylor Swift has invited the New York Knicks starters who eliminated Travis Kelce's boyhood team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, on their way to the NBA championship to her wedding with Kelce on Friday, according to Page Six.
Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart are all set to attend the ceremony and party in Manhattan, the report said.
Brunson, the Knicks' biggest star, has previously described himself as a Swiftie. The Knicks players were reportedly happier to have Swift at their game than Donald Trump, who attended Game 3, the Daily Mail reported at the time.
Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland
Swift and Kelce sat courtside for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Cavaliers and the Knicks in Cleveland, which New York won 121-108.
Kelce, a fan of Cleveland's other sports teams, was cheering against the Knicks and hoping to see the Cavaliers win an NBA title.
Swift later returned to Madison Square Garden to cheer on the Knicks in the finals against the San Antonio Spurs, watching as New York overturned a record 29-point lead held by the Spurs. Kelce could not attend that game because of Chiefs practice in Kansas City.
Wedding guest list
The five Knicks players will now reunite with Kelce on Friday, with the group on the guest list for the top-secret event. Several other athletes are also expected at the wedding, including a number of Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has confirmed he is invited too. He revealed that Swift and Kelce have enforced one rule for the day. "They said absolutely no gifts," Kittle said last week. "But I was thinking Travis, for some reason, likes old coins so I might get him one of those. Sounds expensive."
