Vasco and Fluminense meet in the first leg of their Copa do Brasil round-of-16 tie on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 17h30 Brasilia time at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.
The two clubs reached the last 16 by different routes. Vasco advanced past Paysandu, winning 2-0 away before drawing 2-2 at home to go through on aggregate. Fluminense eliminated Operario-PR with a goalless draw in Ponta Grossa followed by a 2-1 home win at the Maracana.
The second leg, which will decide which club advances to the quarter-finals, is scheduled for Wednesday, 5 August, also at the Maracana.
