The publication highlighted his action after a lateral pass and his save in a one-on-one situation against Igor Jesus, noting that he blocked the shot by reading the player's intentions.
Daily newspaper Sport also noted the goalkeeper's focus, adding that he worked hard during pre-season and is regaining high form. The Spanish outlet reported that while his play on the line was not fully refined and he misplaced a few kicks, he responded confidently when needed and pointed to his 38th-minute one-on-one save as a classic example of anticipation.
