AEK Athens are the top favorites to reach the Champions League league phase with a 73 percent qualification chance, according to Football Meets Data analysis released on Aug. 8.
After winning the championship last season, the club aims to enter the league phase of Europe's top competition. AEK will face either Levski Sofia or Kairat Almaty in the play-offs, with the Bulgarian side holding a 1-0 lead after the first match. Football Meets Data reported that AEK's potential play-off opponents do not cause fear, making Marko Nikolic's team the strongest contender to advance.

AEK holds the highest probability among all teams in the Champions Path. Celtic follows with a 54 percent chance, while Dinamo Zagreb has 53 percent. Slovan Bratislava stands at 48 percent, with Viking and LASK both at 47 percent. Crvena zvezda holds 37 percent, AGF Aarhus 33 percent, NK Celje 22 percent, Levski Sofia 21 percent, and Ararat-Armenia 18 percent.
