Alianza Lima maintained their undefeated record at the top of the 2026 Liga Femenina table with a 2-0 victory against Sporting Cristal on Sunday.
Colombian forwards Daniela Montoya and Nisa Marquinez scored second half goals to secure the Torneo Clausura win during the matchday 10 fixture.
The result takes Jose Letelier's team to 27 points and keeps them in first place. Alianza Lima had entered the match with 24 points.
Sporting Cristal remain in fourth place with 21 points. They could have equalled Alianza Lima's points total with a victory.
Second half goals
The second half began with few clear opportunities before Montoya opened the scoring in the 64th minute with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area.
Marquinez scored the second goal in the 89th minute. She finished with high quality following a pass from teammate Saavedra.
Alianza Lima almost added a third goal when Alondra Vilchez found space in the penalty box and scored in the 85th minute, but the referee ruled the play offside.
Earlier in the half, Estefania Gonzalez connected with a header for Alianza Lima in the 76th minute, but the effort lacked power.
Teammate Flores also attempted to create a chance with a cross into the penalty area in the 71st minute. Sporting Cristal goalkeeper Fernanda Lizarraga gathered the ball safely.
The match referee added six minutes of stoppage time at the end of the second half, following two minutes of additional time in the first half.
