Newcastle has inquired with Benfica SAD executives regarding sale conditions for left-back Dedic, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported. Correio da Manhã reported that the Bosnian full-back welcomes the possibility of leaving the club.
Benfica has made it known that the club will only allow Dedic to leave for 35 million euros, according to newspaper Record.

Newcastle interest in the defender stems from manager Matthias Jaissle knowing Dedic well from their time working together at Salzburg.
