Bodo Glimt reached the Champions League play-offs after defeating Union Saint-Gilloise 3-2 in extra time in Norway. The victory followed a 3-3 draw in the first leg in Belgium, with the second leg producing goals, a red card, and extra time before the Norwegian side secured their spot in the next round.
Bodo Glimt will face the winner of the tie between Olympiacos and NEC Nijmegen in the play-offs. If Olympiacos qualify against the Dutch side, the first leg will take place at the G. Karaiskakis stadium on August 18 or 19, with the return leg held at the opponent's home ground on August 25 or 26.
Sabah Secure Europa League Spot
Meanwhile, Sabah made history by defeating Aarhus 4-0 to overturn a 2-1 loss from the first leg and guarantee at least a place in the Europa League league phase. The Azerbaijani side scored all four goals in the second half through Simic in the 59th minute, Solvet in the 67th minute, Mickels in the 78th minute, and Severina in the 89th minute.
Sabah will face either Red Star Belgrade or Hapoel Beer Sheva in the play-offs.
