Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have officially married in a private ceremony held in Cascais near Lisbon. A statement transmitted to Brunswick Group confirmed that the 41-year-old Al-Nassr player and the 32-year-old Spanish model are now officially husband and wife after nearly ten years together.
The private event took place at the couple's villa in Cascais, an upscale resort town located about 30 kilometers west of Lisbon. The couple chose a discreet setting attended only by their five children, ending days of media speculation and false leads regarding the festivities.
The only official photograph published from the wedding appeared on the couple's social media accounts. The image showed their intertwined hands with their wedding rings clearly visible.
Gatherings and Media Rumors
Media reports had repeatedly announced since the beginning of August that the wedding would take place in Sintra, a suburb of Lisbon, or in Funchal on the island of Madeira, where Ronaldo was born. Following press reports predicting a Saturday ceremony in Funchal, nearly 3,000 curious spectators gathered outside the city's cathedral.
The waiting crowd ultimately watched two strangers residing in France get married instead. Funchal Cathedral told AFP a few days earlier that no wedding ceremony was scheduled for CR7, though officials added that hosting the event would have been an honor.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez met in 2016 in Madrid and have since built a family with significant media exposure. Together, they command more than 750 million followers across their social media platforms, where they regularly share glimpses of their family life.
