Jose Mourinho has been presented as Real Madrid head coach after signing a three-year contract alongside club president Florentino Perez at Ciudad Real Madrid.
The Portuguese manager will return to the dugout on Saturday for his first match back in charge of the Spanish club.
The ceremony took place in the boardroom at the club's training facility, with official channel Real Madrid TV acting as the sole witness to the agreement.

Contract details and presentation gifts
Mourinho signed a deal committing him to Real Madrid until June 30, 2029. The private signing ceremony with Perez marked the start of a presentation format that the club will also use for six new squad signings.
During the event, Mourinho posed with a special commemorative shirt, a model replica of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, and a commemorative watch to mark his return.
Return to Valdebebas and club connection
Speaking to the club's media channel, Mourinho said he was returning home and expressed a deep connection to the institution. He noted that while his first stint at the club was defined by the feeling of reaching the top of managerial football, his return felt even more beautiful than his initial arrival.

The manager declared that he was one of them, a Madridista, and stated that his bond with the club had never been broken since his departure. He emphasized that the responsibility of working for Real Madrid is a principle everyone at the Valdebebas facility must feel, adding that leading the team meant a great deal to him.
Background and press conference schedule
Real Madrid, based in the Spanish capital, is one of the most successful football clubs in world sport, competing in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. Mourinho previously coached the team from 2010 to 2013, winning the Spanish league title and the Copa del Rey during his first period in charge.
Mourinho is scheduled to hold his first official press conference on Friday as part of the buildup to Real Madrid's upcoming fixture against Espanyol.
