Strasbourg will host league leaders Monaco at the Stade de la Meinau on Saturday in the fourth round of the French Ligue 1 season.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 12:15 p.m. Brasilia time. Viewers can watch the game exclusively on YouTube through the CazéTV channel, with real time text updates also provided by CNN Esportes.
Monaco defend perfect start
Monaco travel to eastern France aiming to maintain their flawless start to the domestic campaign. Operating under the management of head coach Filipe Luis, the principality club currently holds a 100 percent win record in the competition.
Luis, who enjoyed a distinguished playing career as a Brazilian international defender representing clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Chelsea before transitioning to the dugout, has guided his team to the top of the standings.
Monaco secured a major statement victory in their most recent league fixture, defeating Paris Saint-Germain to claim the league leadership. PSG are the reigning national and European champions, and have long been the dominant sporting force in French football. Overcoming them represents a significant early milestone for Monaco, who are based in the independent city state on the Mediterranean coast but compete within the French system.
Strasbourg seek home momentum
Strasbourg enter the weekend sitting sixth in the Ligue 1 table. The club returns to its home supporters aiming to build on a comprehensive away victory in their previous outing, hoping to confirm their strong run of early season form.
The Stade de la Meinau has served as Strasbourg's traditional home ground since the early 20th century. The stadium is located in the Alsace region near the German border, providing a historic setting for the top flight encounter.
Ligue 1 serves as the premier division of the French football league system, where Monaco have historically been one of the most successful clubs and primary challengers to PSG's contemporary domestic dominance.
