Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah was named to the Major League Baseball All-Star team on Monday.
Manoah is the only Blue Jays player named to one of the two all-star teams.
The 24-year-old right-hander finished the season with a 16-7 record and a 2.24 ERA, good for fourth in the American Hockey League. He had 180 strikeouts.
Manoah was also a finalist for the American League Cy Young Trophy.
