(New York) Major League Baseball and the Players Association put the finishing touches on Tuesday to a collective agreement that will run through the end of the 2026 season.
The finalization of the agreement comes 14 months after the establishment of a memorandum of understanding that ended a 99-day blockade.
The collective agreement ends at 23:59 on the 1st ofer December 2026. The document has 426 pages, 67 more than what details the agreement that expired on 1ster December 2021.
The document took almost twice as long to prepare and complete as the agreement, which ran from 2016 to 2021. It took just seven months and 29 days.
