Jansen hit his ninth home run of the season in the fifth off a walk to Matt Chapman.
Leody Taveras, Texas’ ninth batter, had hit a solo home run two innings earlier.
Jansen had hit two solo home runs the day before in Baltimore.

Kevin Gausman (6-3) has given up just one run and four hits in six innings, striking out four batters.
In the sixth, he had a double and a walk to the first two batters, before going on three consecutive strikeouts.
Gausman is 4-0 since May 10 in eight games.
The 32-year-old right-hander leads the American with 121 strikeouts.
