(Toronto) Danny Jansen and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scored two runs, and the Toronto Blue Jays bounced back with a 7-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Saturday.

Brandon Belt hit a sacrifice fly and Matt Chapman added a single for an RBI a day after the Blue Jays lost 42-36 to the Lowy Athletics.

José Berríos (8-5) struck out eight times and allowed three runs, including two earned, six hits and two walks. Relievers Tim Mayza, Nate Pearson, Yimi Garcia, and Jordan Romano combined for three scoreless innings.

Seth Brown hit a solo home run for the Athletics (20-59). Ryan Noda and Tyler Wade scored with a double and a single, respectively.

Shintaro Fujinami pitched just two-thirds of an inning, allowing two runs on four hits before being replaced by Hogan Harris.

Harris allowed four runs in four innings and two-thirds work, five hits and four walks. Austin Pruitt and Sam Long also came out of the track and field bullpen.

Back-to-back two-day home runs could be an indication that Guerrero Jr. is emerging from a crisis of strength. His three-point bomb in Friday’s 5-4 loss to the Athletics was his first at the Rogers Center and ended a 16-game drought at first base.
