(Seattle) The Baltimore Orioles reinstated center fielder Cedric Mullins Friday ahead of their game against the Seattle Mariners.

The Orioles also drafted left-hander Nick Vespi from Norfolk AAA and demoted outfielder Ryan McKenna and right-hander Joey Krehbiel.

Mullins batted . 259 with nine home runs, 47 RBIs and 14 stolen bases this season. He hasn’t played since July 15 due to injury.

Mullins has been on the disabled list twice this year due to groin problems. The Orioles lead the All-American East Division but struggled with injuries to Mullins and outfielder Aaron Hicks.
