(Toronto) Ramon Laureano hit three runs, including two on a home run, as the Cleveland Guardians beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-2 on Friday night.

Canadian Bo Naylor also helped the visitors by hitting a long ball in his first appearance at the Rogers Centre, as the Blue Jays (70-59) suffered their third consecutive loss.

With the Blue Jays up 1-0 after a second-inning tackle by George Springer, Naylor tied the game at third with his fifth home run of the campaign.

Laureano added a long two-run for the Guardians (61-68) after two fourth-inning outs after Oscar Gonzalez hit the infield on an infield hit.

Laureano extended the lead to 4-1 in a double on the right side of the field. He pushed Gonzalez to base, who started the sixth inning with a double.

The Guardians’ four points came against Toronto starter Chris Bassitt (12-7). He pitched five innings and two-thirds, giving up seven hits and two walks, including an intentional to Jose Ramirez.

Guardians rookie pitcher Tanner Bibee (10-3), 24, ruled six innings, allowing two runs, six hits and a walk.

Vladimir Guerrero’s son hit his 18It is long ball of the season in the sixth inning. After that home run, the next seven Blue Jays batters were retired in order. Andres Gimenez capitalized on the opportunity to restore three-point priority to the Guardians with a four-goal solo shot in the eighth.
