(Toronto) Bo Bichette is back. His name was removed from the injured list by the Toronto Blue Jays ahead of Friday night’s game against the Kansas City Royals.
Bichette has been sidelined since August 27 with a right quadriceps strain. He participated in batting practice at Rogers Center a few hours before kickoff.
To make room for him, infielder Mason McCoy was transferred to the Jays’ AAA club in Buffalo.
Bichette’s .314 batting average is the Blue Jays’ best and his 18 home runs are the club’s second-highest total.
