(Miami) Laval’s Charles Leblanc continues to find ways to hit the trails at least once a game, but his efforts aren’t helping the Miami Marlins rack up wins. On the contrary.
The Marlins suffered two losses against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, 5-2 in the first game of the double-header, played in the afternoon, and 6-2 in the second, presented in the evening.
In the first game, Leblanc hit a single as the first batter of the fifth inning. He then stole second base before moving to third base after an erratic pitch from catcher Chadwick Tromp. He didn’t go any further.
In game two, Leblanc was limited to one walk in the fourth inning, all in three official appearances. He was eliminated in the sixth inning and ground two ground balls into the infield in the first and ninth innings.
