Ilya SIDOROV: “Thanks to everyone who fought for Ukraine”
Defender of the Ukraine national basketball team Ilya Sidorov He commented on the team’s victory over the Estonian national team in the EuroBasket 2nd round match:
“The match of the day is very important to us. We won because we raced to the end and we stuck together every quarter, no matter how good or bad the game was. If you compete throughout the game, something great can happen to you in the end. And finally this “happy” shot came to us.
I want to thank the people who watched the match in Ukraine. I know many men who are currently fighting for our country and watching our games. It’s an honor.
We talk about you, we think about you every day we’re here. And I hope all this ends soon. Thanks again to everyone who continues to fight for Ukraine. I hope the war ends,” said Sidorov.
