EuroBasket 2022, Slovenia – Bosnia 93-97: triumph against the European champions
With Musa and Roberson in great form, Bosnia shocked European champions Slovenia with a 97-93 win to make it 2-1 in Group B of EuroBasket 2022.
Bosnia had the power to look them in the eye and end up defeating European champions Slovenia. Led by Musa and Roberson, Bosnia celebrated a huge 97-93 win to defeat their opponent in Group B of EuroBasket 2022 2-1.
Despite the great performance of Čačar and Goran Dragić, the Slovenes did not manage to win what initially seemed easy in theory. Dodic was limited to 16 points with 0/8 threes but racked up 8 rebounds and dished out 8 assists.
The Bosnians are now optimistic about the continuation of the group as they are tied 2-1 with the Slovenians. The first scorer was John Roberson with 23 points and 7/13 three-pointers, while Janan Musa had 22 points with 4/8 two-pointers, 3/5 three-pointers and 5 assists. No one from the Bosnian team was left behind and celebrations for the big win were furious.
