EuroBasket 2022, Turkey v Georgia: Korkmaz, Sanatze expelled for fighting
The game between Turkey and Georgia was episodic and there was almost a fight where Korkmaz and Sanatze exchanged words and eventually both were eliminated from the game.
In the A-Group match between Georgia and Turkey there was a risk of a clash EuroBasket as Furkan Korkmaz and Duda Sanadze exchanged words with the score being 59-62 in favor of the Georgians and they got… close with the result that the cooler ones intervened and broke them up before there was an incident.
However, both players were sent off, which continued after a few minutes. The specific episode took place 4’48” before the end of the game, with the two players ingloriously ending their presence in it.
