Space Yang halted the Suns’ streak with 43 points in 11 wins
With an incredible performance from Trey Young and a stop at 43 points, the Hawks defeated the Suns 124-115, ending the NBA Champion’s 11-win streak.
Trey Young was considered doubtful ahead of the match with the Suns. After the match, however, there was no doubt that he broke up the Phoenix defense and led the Hawks to a 124-115 win. He broke the Suns’ 11-game win streak, while it was the Hawks’ 8th win in their last 9 games.
Yang was unstoppable and finished the game with 43 points with 16/25 shots (6/11 3-points), 5/7 shots and 5 assists in 36 minutes. Kevin Herter and John Collins followed close with an offering of 19 points in a night when the Hawks had 20-41 three-pointers and even reached +14.
For the Suns, who remain at the top of the NBA with a 41-10 record, Devin Booker had 32 points, Michal Bridges had 24 points, and Chris Paul had 18 points and 12 assists.
