Scandal. Lithuania protests the result of the EuroBasket match against Germany

After the match, Lithuania objected to the referee. The fact is that the referees of the match did not assign a free throw, which could decide the outcome of the game.
In the match between Lithuania and Germany in Cologne, the chief referee and table officials forgot to give a free throw together with the match inspector.
At the end of the third quarter, with just over a minute left, German head coach Gordon Herbert was charged with a technical foul, but no Lithuanian players were allowed to take a free throw.
Shortly before the technical foul Jonas Valanciunas Picked up a foul from Maodo Lo. According to FIBA rules, a free throw for a technical foul had to be used up to two throws for a regular foul.
However, only two free throws were awarded for a regular foul. Valanciunas missed both and the Germans took the ball. First, three faulty free throws were recorded in the game’s official protocol. A free kick allegedly missed due to a technical foul was then removed from protocol.
Lithuanian striker Mindaugas Kuzminskas After the game, he said: “His coach or the opposing bench has received a technical foul. We didn’t make that shot. After our coaches started protesting, the commissioner turned red and did nothing.”
