Croatia – Ukraine – 90:85. It’s embarrassing but not critical. Video review of the match
September 7, in Milan (Italy) at 15:15 Ukraine national basketball team lost to Croatia in the 4th round match. EuroBasket 2022.
Ukraine lost the second and fourth quarters.
Ukrainian Volodymyr Gerun was the top scorer of the match. Ukraine’s central team had 21 points and 6 rebounds on the court at 23:19.
Note that this defeat will not affect the successful completion of the group stage. Now Ukraine is in third place behind Croatia (both teams have 8 points each). Only when they beat Great Britain on the day’s evening show Italy can catch them. And then there will be a “spin” of three teams – this is where the Ukrainian team should rise to second place.
