Leader of the Slovenian national team Luke Doncic EuroBasket 2022 has updated its performance record.
The 23-year-old Dallas Mavericks scored 47 points against France. He also has 7 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.
Interestingly, this is the second result in the history of the European Basketball Championship. The recording belongs to Belgian Eddie Terrace. He scored 63 points in a game against Albania in 1957.
Doncic also updated the national record in continental championships. The previous one belonged to him too – 36 points in yesterday’s match against Germany.
Note that the national team of Slovenia is the reigning European champion.
