Estonia – Greece: The rejection of the Greek national anthem and the presentation of the national team in the Mediolanum Forum
The Greek national anthem was once again played in the Mediolanum Forum, while the national team of Dimitris Itoudis was applauded by the audience at the team presentation before the game against Estonia.
As in the previous four games in the Mediolanum Forum against Croatia, Italy, Great Britain and Ukraine, in the last game in Milan against Ukraine, the Greek national players and the Greek fans voted to reject the national anthem.
At the same time, spectators in the stands admired Dimitris Itoudis’ national players, while Estonian fans once again made their presence known.
