BC “Paris Nizhny Novgorod” presented an updated logo and kit for the start of the season
On September 8, in Nizhny Novgorod, at the Goradrom site located on the Grebny Canal embankment, a presentation of the updated corporate identity of the basketball club Pari Nizhny Novgorod took place, the title sponsor of which is the betting company PARI.
The event was attended by team players led by captain Evgeny Baburin, as well as head coach Zoran Lukic and club president Sergei Panov. BC PARI was presented by Alexey Levinsky, Head of PARI Sponsorship.
An updated club logo and a new team uniform were presented at the event. The new logo symbolizes the next stage of partnership between the club and the betting company. This is still the same well-recognized symbol of the Nizhny Novgorod team, familiar to fans, but now it has an integrated PARI inscription, which reminds of the changed name – “Paris Nizhny Novgorod” and the successful tandem of the club and sponsor.
The basis for the pattern in the new game symbols of the club was the arrow used in the PARI logo. For Nizhny Novgorod, the arrow is a special symbol. So in the city they call the confluence of the Oka and the Volga. The color transition from purple to turquoise emphasizes the connection of two rivers in one geographical point – in the homeland of the club.
Also during the event, Pari Nizhny Novgorod introduced newcomers and held an autograph session for basketball players. Everyone could ask questions to the speakers at a specially organized press conference.
Alexey Levinsky, Head of Sponsorship at PARI:
— Nizhny Novgorod is a strategically important region for us. We are glad that we were able to expand our partnership with the basketball club from this city and raise additional funds. The presentation of the new style is the first in a series of joint events with the club. As the season progresses, other activities await fans, as well as social and charitable projects.
Sergey Panov, BC “Paris Nizhny Novgorod”:
— We have already worked with PARI before we moved to a new stage of cooperation. In sports, a reliable, strong-standing partner should always be near the club so that the team has the opportunity to develop and remain competitive. I am very pleased that we quickly reached an understanding with PARI before signing a new contract. We are also grateful to the company for making our style more vivid and recognizable. The logo contains symbols that unite basketball, the city and our partner. I hope the changes will have a positive impact on the results of the team during the season. We wish you guys good luck!
Zoran Lukic, head coach of BC “Paris Nizhny Novgorod”:
— Nizhny Novgorod is a special city for me. Here, my team and I achieved outstanding results. I think the new stage in the life of the club will help us take a step forward. Nizhny Novgorod is like my hometown. I definitely don’t want to change anything and I can calmly end my career here. As for sports plans for the season, I think that both the players and the fans want to win the championship. We set ourselves the task of at least getting into the playoffs and trying to get past the quarterfinals. I don’t mind if we get to CSKA again, because our team should be able to play with any opponent this season.
At the end of July, the Nizhny Novgorod basketball club and PARI extended the cooperation agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, the betting company became the title sponsor of the club, while the team enters the new season under the name “Pari Nizhny Novgorod” (“Pari NN”). The new season of the VTB United League starts on October 2.
In addition to the basketball club, PARI also supports other sports teams in Nizhny Novgorod. The company acts as a strategic sponsor of the football club “Pari NN” and is the official partner of the hockey “Torpedo”.
