MIKHAILUK: “We will be better and stronger in the next EuroBasket”

Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk said that the Ukrainian team has excellent prospects to fulfill in the long term.

Recall that the Ukrainian team stopped the fight in the 1/8 final stage of EuroBasket 2022 and lost 91:86 to the Polish team.

“It was great to come back and play for the Ukraine national team. If everyone is healthy, the future of our team will be good. We have a few young players, some still developing and growing. I think we will be better and stronger in the next EuroBasket. It was a good experience for us.

We shouldn’t make childish mistakes. We need to know who we’re playing against, who we’re playing personally, our roles, what we need to do. I don’t think we have it today. We made a lot of mistakes, of course, we missed a shot, but you can’t hit every game. On the other hand, we had to constantly concentrate.

If we lost focus even for a second, they quickly picked up, leveled the score, returned to the game. We must play as we planned, not invent anything new. And then everything will be fine, ”Mikhayuk said.
