FBU appeals to Taiwan Basketball Federation
Recently, information appeared in basketball circles about the departure of the Ukrainian team to a friendly tournament in Taiwan. According to preliminary information, the free agency team, which will include Ukrainian players, was supposed to participate in the competition.
The FBU reports that it has nothing to do with the formation of this so-called national team. At the same time, the FBU sent an official letter to the Taiwan Basketball Federation with a request to negotiate the participation of any Ukrainian national team only through official communication sources.
The FBU also thanked the Taiwanese for their efforts to organize a training camp for the Ukrainian national team in the summer, but then did not fit into the cycle of preparing our team for the World Cup qualifying matches.
